Note that this capability can't be applied to the root site in SharePoint (for example, ).
Policies can be applied directly to the site or via a sensitivity label. You can use authentication contexts to connect an Azure AD conditional access policy to a SharePoint site. With Azure Active Directory authentication context, you can enforce more stringent access conditions when users access SharePoint sites.
